Documentary film

Since January 2022 the Volkart Foundation pursues a revised strategy for the promotion of culture. The previous focus on Documentary Film is retained but moved closer to the foundation’s other thematic priorities which lie in the areas of ecology, social issues and media. Application-based funding remains in place for documentary films, see funding application for Documentary film.

What we do not support:

• diploma and graduation films
• festivals
• follow-up financing for the completion of projects
